Organic Screened Quadruple Mix Soil

-Our premium blend 

- a mixture of top soil, sand, manure and 50% organic compost

- this product is processed through a screening plant and all debris larger than 1/2" is removed

- excellent for top dressing, flower beds, vegetable gardens and new lawns.

Screened Triple Mix Soil

- a mixture of top soil, sand, compost and manure.

- this product is processed through a screening plant and all debris larger than 1/2" is removed

- ideal for top dressing, flower beds, vegetable gardens and new lawns.

Clean Fill

- generally a clay / gravel mix
- used anywhere an area is low and needs to be brought to grade
-the most inexpensive way to fill in an area
- does not grow grass
Screened Compost

- a mixture of lawn & garden wastes that have decomposed

- ideal for adding into existing flower beds and vegetable gardens for soil enhancement and to reduce compaction.

-can be used as a top dressing



Mushroom Compost

- as the name says this product was used for growing mushrooms

- not decomposed as well as the screened compost

- a mixture of straw and manure

Manure

- horse manure that has been stockpiled for a minimum of 3 years and is well rotted



Mulches

Economy Mulch

- an un-dyed mulch made from virgin fibre from Ontario’s forest industry

- apply to a depth of 2"-3" in order to retain moisture and suppress weed growth
Canada Red Mulch

- the most recognized mulch in the Ontario market.

- Canada Red Mulch blends beautifully into any landscape or  garden and results in an eye catching professional job.

- a fine textured virgin, pine wood mulch derived from the Canadian forest industry

- apply to a depth of 2"-3" in order to retain moisture and suppress weed growth


4 Seasons Mulch

- has the same qualities as our regular Canada Red Mulch except the particle size is reduced to give a fine textured look.

- this is the only mulch product we carry that can be applied in the City of Guelph Termite zones

-  apply to a depth of 2"-3" in order to retain moisture and suppress weed growth


Red Devil Mulch

a fine textured virgin fibre from Ontario's forest industry that has been coloured red.

- colour will last several times longer than conventional mulches.
-  apply to a depth of 2"-3" in order to retain moisture and suppress weed growth


Black Beauty Mulch

- a fine textured virgin fibre from Ontario's forest industry that has been coloured black.

- colour will last several times longer than conventional mulches

-  apply to a depth of 2"-3" in order to retain moisture and suppress weed growth


Cypress Gold Mulch

- a fine textured virgin fibre from Ontario's forest industry that has been coloured gold.

- colour will last several times longer than conventional mulches

Apply to a depth of 2"-3" in order to retain moisture and suppress weed growth



Sands, Stones & Gravel

A Gravel

- a mixture of 3/4" or less stone and sand

- compacts well

- used in driveways, under buildings and patio stones


Recycled Concrete "A" Gravel

- crushed concrete, 3/4"  and less

- compacts great

- used anywhere that regular A gravel would be used 

Screenings

- also referred to as stone dust

- a mixture of 1/4" stone and sand

-compacts great

-commonly found on baseball diamonds

-used most places A gravel would be used

-ideal for use under patio stone, retaining wall or interlock


3/4" Clear Stone

- commonly referred to as drainage stone

- placed in areas where drainage is needed

- placed around pipes to provide protection from larger rocks

- can be used as a decoration stone

3/8" Pea Stone

- called Pea Stone as the stones are round and resemble peas

- placed in areas where drainage is needed

- placed around pipes to provide protection from larger rocks

- can be used as a decoration stone-


B Gravel - Pit Run

- we carry various types of "B" gravel - pit run

- can be smaller rocks and sand to large rocks and sand

- used when constructing driveways, parking lots etc to provide
a solid base
Brick Sand

- the finest sand we carry, similar to sand found at the beach

- this sand has been washed and contains no traces of clay

- common uses are for masonary work and sandboxes

Screened Sand

- uses for this sand include bedding around pipes, concrete mixing, adding to vegetable gardens and flower beds to loosen soil and most applications where sand is required

River Rock

- also referred to as potato stone

- stones are rounded not crushed

- commonly used as decoration in gardens

- comes in various sizes 1-2", 3-4" and 6-10"

Shale Rock

- layers of rock approximately 2" that have been separated
 when excavation has occurred
can be used as a walkway, stepping stones, a wall or decoration

Landscape Rocks

- we carry rocks any where from 6 inches - 3 feet of various sizes and colours

-  mainly used for decoration
